Group Piano

6 1/2 years to 11 years

Our mission is to make piano lessons enjoyable for the student and foster a life long love of music. Group Piano lessons support these goals, especially for the beginning student. Students naturally enjoy the group experience and look forward to their lesson because it is challenging yet entertaining. Young students are often more comfortable playing in groups, and enjoy creating ensembles. The group method also helps students develop excellent rhythm skills.

Piano Classes are small with no more than four students in a class and each student will have his or her own fully equipped digital piano.

By enrolling for Instrument lessons at KinderVillage you become part of our musical family and receive:

  • A weekly lesson (typically 45min) with one of our experienced and caring teachers
  • Appropriate lesson, performance and theory books, often with a CD to make practicing fun!
  • A sturdy KinderVillage bag and binder for organizing and transporting your materials and weekly homework sheets.
  • An invitation to sharings in December and June where your student can share their progress
  • A Holiday Sing-a-Long for all ages just before the Christmas break
  • Students actively enrolled at the end of the year qualify for priority enrollment status for the next school year or session so they can keep their choice of time-slot, and waive the registration fee.
